Probe Lens Repeated Go-To Entering Carts - Switch Lens Moves Off¶
Summary¶
Some probe/borescope lenses repeatedly ask for a go-to when entering Carts control, even when the lens and camera are already in the correct position. The reported workaround is to use Lens Moves during proper lens calibration, then switch Lens Moves off afterwards.
This issue is separate from the target-at-infinity problem and separate from 1:1 target-behind-nodal flips.
Symptoms¶
- Every time Carts control is entered, Flair wants a go-to.
- The operator is already in the right position, but Flair still asks for a go-to.
- Laowa or borescope setup causes the repeated go-to.
- Focus may move unexpectedly, or the operator spends time chasing a lens setup problem.
Community Solution¶
[CONFIRMED] Turn Lens Moves off after calibration¶
- Enable/use Lens Moves as needed during proper calibration.
- Complete the lens calibration.
- Switch Lens Moves off.
- Enter Carts control again and confirm the go-to prompt is gone.
