Cartesian Pan Mimic with Gamepad in Flair 7 — Known Limitations¶

Summary¶

Running cartesian pan/tilt mimic with pan bars or a gamepad in Flair 7 has known limitations. Community reports indicate it is tricky, does not obey Cartesian limits, and was primarily confirmed working in Flair Classic. Flair 7 behaviour may differ and a dedicated forum thread was created. Using MRMC's dedicated handwheel hardware is the preferred alternative.

Symptoms¶

Gamepad or pan bar does not control pan/tilt in Cartesian mimic mode as expected in Flair 7.
